WICC Ontario Welcomes Monique LeBlanc of the Insurance Institute of New Brunswick to its Board of Directors

TORONTO, ON, AUGUST 15 2024/insPRESS – The Ontario chapter of Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Monique LeBlanc, Manager of the Insurance Institute of New Brunswick, to its board of Directors.

Monique has been a champion for WICC in Atlantic Canada for over 15 years, and is eager to join WICC Ontario’s board, where she will leverage her strong industry connections, strategic planning, and promotion skills to support WICC’s mission.

“Joining the WICC Board of Directors is not just about holding the position, it is about embracing a responsibility to raise awareness, to fundraise and to contribute my expertise to help shape the future of WICC and to make a lasting impact” LeBlanc expressed. “I am very pleased to be part of such a wonderful Board for a cause that is dear to my heart.”

“Monique’s past leadership and contributions have helped to rally a growing group of Atlantic Canadian Insurance Professionals around WICC’s cause.” noted Marilyn Horrick. “We’re so thrilled to have Monique on board. While we’re a few provinces apart, our goals couldn’t be more aligned, and we’ll be better positioned to reach them together!”

As WICC remains focused on its goal to reach $25M in funds raised for the Canadian Cancer Society going into 2025, united efforts of WICC Chapters Canada-wide will underpin our success and bolster our impact. Monique’s appointment to WICC Ontario’s board marks a strengthened connection with our Atlantic Canada community, and sets the stage for our continued collaboration to make an impact.
