Gallagher Bassett has been named one of Insurance Business’s 5-Star Insurance Innovators for 2023 – the most innovative insurance companies in Australia and New Zealand.

In an interview with Insurance Business, Gallagher Bassett revealed its secrets to becoming one of the most innovative companies in the Australian and New Zealand insurance markets.

Gallagher Bassett global vice president Andrew Spilsbury said the company focuses its innovative efforts on “the human touch,” such as dealing with multiple major catastrophe events and the resulting emotional and mental stresses associated with claims.

“Our support program is designed to provide additional wellbeing support for claimants who have suffered a loss, such as damage to their home or involvement in an accident, and their immediate family members,” Spilsbury told Insurance Business.
