USAA hires new tech leaders from Regions Bank, Chase

USAA has hired Amala Duggirala as EVP and enterprise CIO, and Jason Witty as SVP and chief security officer.

Reporting to CIO Wayne Peacock, Duggirala takes the helm of a 6,000-strong technology and data organization. She last was chief operations and technology officer at Regions Bank. Before that she worked at Kabbage, ACI Worldwide and British Telecommunications.

Witty last was CIO of cybersecurity and technology controls and global CISO at J.P. Morgan Chase. He also has worked at Bank of America and U.S. Bancorp.
