Company veterans step into new roles
Tokio Marine HCC – Cyber & Professional Lines Group (CPLG), a Texas-based member of the Tokio Marine HCC group of companies, has announced the promotions of three executive leaders.
Sun Choi has been named senior vice president of product management and engineering
Christopher Murphy has been named senior vice president of employment practices liability and healthcare professional insurance
Jade Rabacal has been named vice president of business development
The new appointments position Tokio Marine HCC – CPLG for long-term growth, the company said.
“We set out to align outstanding talent with our core business strategy to deliver confidently on our customer and community commitments,” said Michael Palotay, president of CPLG. “Each of these leaders has the expertise and vision to create operational efficiencies and keep tech at the forefront of our business in the ever-changing and increasingly competitive cyber and professional lines landscape. Their commitment to systems and solutions will accelerate the company into its next phase of growth.”
Choi, who has a history of technology expertise and leadership, previously served as vice president of product management and engineering. In his new role as senior vice president, he will focus on delivering end-to-end technology solutions for CPLG.
Murphy previously served as vice president of employment practices. Over the past seven years, he has led his department to record profits.
Prior to taking her new role as vice president of business development, Rabacal grew the company’s employment practices book to new heights in her 12 years with the company. In her new role, Rabacal will expand and lead new business growth while strengthening broker relationships across all lines of business.
