Car events in 2021 are going ahead (pending updates from the Government on Covid-19 restrictions).

For most of us, life has pretty much been on pause for the past year. Now, nearly half way through 2021, we’re starting to see a level of normality returning.

Unfortunately, most car events had to be cancelled / re-scheduled last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This year, things are looking brighter. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest car events that will be retuning in the months ahead…

Car Events in 2021

BTCC – Snetterton – 12th-13th June

Snetterton’s BTCC event is set to return this year with craftsmanship from BMW, Honda, Vauxhall and more due to be out on the circuit. Josh Cook claimed two prizes back in May. Who will claim prizes in June?

London Classic Car Show – Syon Park – 25th-27th June

The London Classic Car Show has moved from The Excel to Syon Park, outdoors, to be Covid-compliant. This show will celebrate 135 years of ‘The Motor Car’. You can expect to see ‘Retro’ and contemporary Supercars on display.

Goodwood Festival of Speed – 8th-11th July

Featuring the best of the best when it comes to supercars, bikes and Formula One vehicles, this iconic event is not one to be missed. It’s set in a rather impressive location too – the grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex.

British Grand Prix – 16th-18th July

One of the most famous car events in history – it’s an event that many hold dear to their heart and look forward to months in advance. An exhilarating day full of trills, fun and Formula One. The event will take place at Silverstone, which is an iconic venue in itself.

Bug Jam – Santa Pod Raceway – 23rd-25th July

If you’re a fan of Volkswagen then this is the event for you. With a vibrant atmosphere, this event showcases many models of the Volkswagen marque. Campervans, beetles, modified and high-powered engines – this event has it all!

Ford Fair – Silverstone – 8th August

Ford Fair – Europe’s biggest Ford event with around 5000 Ford’s on display. This year may be different, however, due to Covid-19 restrictions. You can get tickets from as low as £27 on their official website so it’s an absolute bargain to attend too!

Covid-19 Restrictions

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, it’s best to check on each event organisers website directly in regards to cancellations and what to expect on the day. With restrictions in place, queues may be longer and certain activities may be off limits. Certain events may even be cancelled so please do check before attending. It’s worth checking each events ticket / refund policy too.
