TMG Insurance Services (The Mutual Group) has announced the appointment of Patrick Markowski (pictured above) as senior vice president and chief operating officer.

Markowski brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services sector. Before joining The Mutual Group, Markowski served as executive vice president and senior advisor to the North America CEO and executive team at Chubb.

He also held the position of chief operating officer for North America at Chubb and was responsible for leading the integration of the $30 billion acquisition of Chubb Insurance by ACE. Prior to his tenure at Chubb, Markowski held leadership roles at Wells Fargo Advisors, Wachovia, and Bank of America. He holds a degree from The Pennsylvania State University.

In his role as chief operating officer, The Mutual Group explained that Markowski will oversee strategic operations, technology, new member onboarding and integration, as well as the optimization of the company’s underwriting-focused platform.

The company also highlighted that his expertise in service management, shared services, mergers and acquisitions, automation, and technology is expected to play a key role in the company’s ongoing growth and development.

Tim Fleming, CEO of The Mutual Group, said that Markowski’s experience in leading some of the top underwriting organizations in the insurance industry will provide valuable knowledge and insights to the company as it continues to enhance its position as a leading insurance operations platform.
