New MD and VP bring decades of experience to the team

On August 1 and 9, The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers (Liberty) announced the appointment of Erin Gaston and Alex Johnson, respectively.
Gaston will join the company as a managing director for its entertainment sector. She has over 25 years of experience, with expertise in personal insurance, including high net-worth individuals, commercial insurance, professional liability, and entertainment insurance.
Prior to joining the company, Gaston was a managing director at Momentous Insurance Brokerage, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC.
“The chance to work in a new and dynamic environment and collaborate with a talented team of insurance professionals is truly exciting,” Gaston said. “I am eager to leverage my experience to drive growth and deliver exceptional value to Liberty’s entertainment clients.”
Meanwhile, Johnson will join the company as the newest vice president (producer). He will be part of Liberty’s transportation, environmental, and construction sectors.
Johnson has 30 years’ worth of experience under his belt, most of it in property & casualty (P&C) lines. He has experience in sales management, and sales marketing, and specialized expertise in the transportation, environmental, and construction industries.
Before joining Liberty, Johnson was a senior advisor at Burnham WHB Insurance Solutions. His career started at Prudential Insurance Company, where he received comprehensive training and earned multiple licenses, including Life, P&C, and SEC.
When asked about the opportunity to join Liberty, Johnson said “I’m thrilled to be part of The Liberty Company, an industry leader known for its outstanding risk mitigation, loss control, and HR support services. He continued “I’m confident that together, we will drive significant value for our middle market clients.”
