More than 30 lawyers also promoted to senior roles

Sparke Helmore Lawyers has elevated five lawyers to partner status and advanced 32 individuals to special counsel and senior associate roles across its Australian offices.

Aimee Dash (pictured, left), based in Perth, joins the partnership within the commercial insurance practice. Her expertise includes liability and workplace health and safety (WHS), where she advises clients on personal injury, medical malpractice, property damage, and aviation disputes. She also provides counsel on WHS incident investigations and prosecutions.

Nell McGill (pictured, right), from Newcastle, has been promoted within the corporate and commercial practice. With over 20 years of experience, she specialises in commercial litigation, focusing on personal and corporate insolvency. She advises insolvency practitioners, as well as directors, shareholders, and stakeholders in various disputes.

Carly Roberts, also from Newcastle, has been elevated in the projects and government commercial practice. She assists clients in all phases of project development, including structuring, tendering, procurement, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. Her clients include government agencies, energy and resources firms, property developers, and major contractors.

Jon Tyne, based in Sydney, has been promoted within the commercial insurance practice. He is experienced in complex financial lines matters and reinsurance disputes, representing national and international insurers and reinsurers. He provides advice on coverage issues and specialty risks, including professional indemnity, directors and officers, and cyber.

Calvin Tay, from the Melbourne property practice, also joins the partnership. He advises corporations, developers, and property funds on a range of property and development issues, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and joint ventures.
