ProSight Global makes two key appointments


Specialty insurance company ProSight Global has announced leadership appointments in its financial institutions and commercial management divisions.

Christine (McSweeny) Doherty has been appointed vice president and financial institutions segment leader. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing all management and professional liability products for public and private financial institutions, including underwriting strategy, strategic direction and product development. Doherty will be based in New York, N.Y., and will report to Keith Lavigne, senior vice president of executive liability.

Philip Yung has been appointed vice president and commercial management liability segment leader. In this role, he will oversee ProSight’s primary and excess management liability products for all public companies. He will also be based in New York and report to Lavigne.

Doherty has more than 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining ProSight, she served as senior vice president at Marsh’s financial and professional liability practice. She has also held roles in both the private and not-for-profit management liability and financial institutions divisions at Marsh.

Yung has more than two decades of insurance experience. Before joining ProSight, he served as vice president and product manager for public directors and officers’ liability at Ironshore Insurance, a Liberty Mutual company. He has also held positions focused on public and private company management liability at Liberty International Underwriters.
