Premium Credit wins at Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Management Awards

Premium Credit is proud to announce success at the CIPD People Management Awards (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development). Premium Credit was named winner of the Best Organisational Development or Design Initiative category.

The awards recognise the outstanding talent, teams and projects delivered by the UK’s public and private sector within Human Resources, Learning & Development and Organisational Development.

The Best Organisational Development or Design Initiative recognised Premium Credit’s project, in conjunction with Q5, to grow and improve its sales team’s financial performance, leading to the best results in the business’ 30+ year history. (Premium Credit currently lends over £4.5 billion in net advances). The winning entry also highlighted how clear development pathways were identified for different roles within the team and the launch of a sales academy to enable individuals to reach their full potential.

Premium Credit was also nominated in the Best Employee Experience Initiative category – acknowledging Premium Credit’s strategy to transform the culture of the business, developing a high-performing environment, improving engagement so that colleagues felt supported and able to perform at their best.

The award entries outlined two of a series of people initiatives the business ran during the Covid-19 pandemic, the aftermath of Brexit, and through the wider economic challenges of the past year.

Sarah Evans, Head of HR, Premium Credit comments: “Our team is thrilled to have achieved success at the CIPD People Management Awards.
