It welcomes 10 new risk advisors and brokers

Property and casualty brokerage Platform Insurance Management (PLATFORM) has announced the appointment of 10 new risk advisors and brokers to its team.
The new appointments include Patrick Baker and David Bowcott as executive vice presidents, Barry Normet, Fraser de Walle, Shane Sinclair, and Gaurav Kapoor as managing directors, Stephanie Kuntz, Ryan Matheson, Colin Hasick, and Ryan Brown as senior vice presidents.
Baker has more than 25 years of experience in risk management and client relationship management. Prior to his appointment, he held leadership roles and was the head of Marsh Canada’s national construction and surety practice.
Bowcott was previously the co-leader of NFP Construction & Infrastructure Group and has more than 30 years of experience when it comes to construction risk advisory and brokerage.
Normet joins the brokerage as a managing director with more than 25 years of experience in surety and construction. He was previously with Marsh Canada, along with de Walle, who holds over 20 years of experience in building and leading high-functioning teams.
Sinclair also joins with more than 25 years of experience in surety and SDI and has held roles in underwriting and broking.
Kapoor previously held the role of head of strategy, digital and operations for NFP. He holds experience in Canada, the UK, and the US.
Also joining from Marsh Canada, Kuntz has an extensive background in commercial, contract, and developer surety.
Matheson has more than 22 years of experience in the construction insurance industry with major projects in broking knowledge and strategic insights.
Hasick has more than a decade of experience in construction risk, advisory, and insurance placement. He also previously held a leadership role in Marsh Canada.
Brown joins the brokerage with experience in insurance and risk advisory on complex infrastructures in North America.
The new additions to PLATFORM will extend the brokerage’s reach and capabilities to serve clients all over the country through their diverse perspectives and specialized expertise, according to a press release.
