Prominent P&C broker NFP has announced the addition of Amanda Wescott (pictured) to its Risk and Insurance Strategy Collective (RISC), with Wescott being named vice president and director of US captive management operations within RISC.

As a specialty practice, RISC offers a wide array of captive management solutions. Wescott’s recruitment underscores NFP’s commitment to the captive industry and its focus on cultivating expert teams to assist clients in navigating intricate risks.

In this new role, Wescott will collaborate closely with Kara Tencellent and Tracy Stopford, the co-leaders of RISC, as well as Jonathan McKenzie, who leads US captive management operations. Wescott will lead a team of captive insurance professionals and report directly to McKenzie.

Wescott brings more than 15 years of experience in captive and risk management to RISC. According to LinkedIn, she recently served as vice president and senior client team leader at Marsh, where her responsibilities included coordinating client services teams, guiding clients through their captive programs, and assisting with captive formation. Wescott remains an active participant in various trade associations and will continue her involvement in multiple committees within the captive industry.

“The addition of a seasoned professional like Amanda will fortify our position in the alternative risk solutions sector,” NFP RISC co-leader Tracy Stopford said. “Her extensive experience, profound understanding of the captive market, and well-established industry relationships will contribute to growth and augment our capability to help clients identify and grasp creative and innovative alternative risk solutions that align with their unique needs.”
