Need help finding insurance for college football team!!

Healthcare Marketplace plan quality changes based on income?

As the title states, I’m in a very specific (and incredibly stressful) situation regarding my health insurance. Recently I tried out for my universities football team, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and I made it. What should be the happiest day of my college life ended up being of the most stressful week I’ve had in a while.

So basically I go through the entire process of training for months and going through the tryouts, I make the team, and they say I can’t begin practice or lifting or anything until I get the proper health insurance because they don’t accept my Medicaid (Louisiana Healthcare Connections). I don’t think of it as a big deal until I spent HOURS since yesterday (the day I was told I made it) and today, just looking online, making countless phone calls, and spending a few hours in the athletic trainers office trying to get help from one of the managers, but even she’s having a hard time finding me an insurance that’ll help and I was hoping someone on here had the ability to help at all.

The university couldn’t give me a list of accepted providers but gave me a list of the requirements for the healthcare, as specified below:

PPO policy / major medical / no coverage limits / max deductible of $3000 / must cover office visits, MRI, CT, PT, inpatient and outpatient surgery

If anyone can help at all, that would be tremendously appreciated, because they’ll have no problem kicking me to the curb if I don’t get the proper health insurance (life of a walk-on)

*Also I tried Blue Cross Blue Shield and my families household income isn’t $32,000 so after an hour long phone call with them and healthcare.gov, I was told I couldn’t apply for them.

If there is any other information of mine needed that would help in this search, or any tips, or literally anything AT ALL that would be able to help me out please let me know!
I would hate if my life long dream of college football was ended because I was not able to get a health insurance..
