Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles Launches a Newly Organized Innovative Website

Nebraska DMV Reminds Customers to Be Aware of Scams

The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles is proud to announce the launch of a new customer friendly, clean, efficient, visually pleasing, and mobile-responsive website. The website provides easy navigation with highly scrutinized content organization making it easier than ever for businesses and residents to interact with the agency.

“We are excited to rollout the new website built to better serve our customers,” says Rhonda Lahm, Director of the Department of Motor Vehicles.  ”The structure and content have been designed to allow online services, information, and data to be delivered in a more efficient and responsive manner no matter what device is being used. Our primary objective was to reduce the amount of time it takes for our citizens to find what they’re looking for.”

The redesign of the website focuses on the information architecture to produce a streamlined user experience where residents and businesses alike can easily find services, data, forms, office locations and hours, information and more.  The homepage features two distinctive areas focusing on the interest of the user.  Individuals will locate information regarding driver licenses, vehicle registrations, driving records, and more just one link away.  By choosing the Business area, the user has instant access to Motor Carrier Trucking Services, Driver Safety Training, Ignition Interlock Providers, Insurance Providers and more areas specifically targeted to their business needs.

Need to order a driving record?  Choose the link. Want an electronic reminder for vehicle registration renewals?  Choose the link. Want to take a practice test for your driving exam?  Choose the link.  Need to pay a traffic ticket?  Choose the link.  Not sure what to choose? The Search Box and the new Help Section with commonly asked questions is available to assist.
