MS Amlin owner declares full-year financials


MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, the parent firm of MS Amlin, has revealed its business results for the year ended March 31, 2022.

According to the summary of financial statements published by the Japan-headquartered insurance group, MS&AD’s net income attributable to owners of the parent surged 82% to ¥262.8 billion.

Ordinary income for the period spanning April 01, 2021, to March 31, 2022, went up by 4.9% to ¥5.1 trillion, while ordinary profit grew 27.4% to ¥390.5 billion.

For the next full year, MS&AD is expecting an 8.7% decline in net income attributable to owners of the parent, to around ¥240 billion.
