Specialty managing general agent (MGA) Nexus has announced the appointment of Seline Low (pictured above) as deputy head of accident and health (A&H) reinsurance for Asia.

Low will be based in Singapore, where she will work alongside Justin Yeo, the head of A&H reinsurance for the region.

According to a news release from Nexus, her responsibilities will include further developing Nexus’ operations in the Accident and Health sector across Asia, expanding the regional broker network, and driving profitable growth.

Low brings a wealth of expertise to her new role, having previously worked at Chubb in product management. She has also held similar positions at Zurich and AIG, gaining significant expertise in both product development and the Asian market. Her background positions Nexus to continue its growth trajectory in the region.

Yeo welcomed Low to the team, noting her deep experience in the field.

“Her ability to deliver excellent service levels, is akin to the ethos of Nexus, and we are excited to see the development of our products and market position with Seline playing a vital role,” Yeo said.

“Accident and health is an ever-present line of business that is evolving all the time with policies becoming more and more personal. I’m excited to see where we go in the next few years and longer,” Low said.

Stuart Rouse, group CEO of Nexus, also commented on Low’s appointment, emphasizing her expertise and industry knowledge.
