Marsh has launched its global alternative risk solutions practice.

Designed to consolidate Marsh’s expertise in parametric solutions, alternative risk transfer, captives, and complex risk, the new unit aims to harness the broker’s extensive resources to foster innovation and expedite the creation of novel risk solutions for clients.

The newly formed practice will integrate capabilities from Marsh’s specialty, global placement, captive solutions, and advisory divisions while also collaborating with sister company Guy Carpenter to tap into large capital pools.

Christophe Letondot (pictured) – who has 30 years of financial services experience, including a near decade-long tenure at Marsh in the areas of alternative risk transfer and parametric solutions – will lead the global alternative risk solutions practice.

Letondot will report to Pat Donnelly, president of specialty and global placement at Marsh, and work closely with leaders like global head of placement John Donnelly.

“Together, we will embrace data-driven insights and cutting-edge technologies to unlock new opportunities and empower our clients to thrive in an increasingly complex risk landscape.”

Meanwhile, Pat Donnelly asserted: “Global alternative risk solutions represents our commitment to being the risk advisor of the future and providing clients with easily accessible, cutting-edge risk management solutions.

“This practice will empower our clients to navigate the ever-changing risk landscape with confidence and resilience.”
