Marsh McLennan Agency names Matt Stadler as president

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) has appointed Matt Stadler (pictured above, left) to succeed Bill Jeatran as president, effective January 1, 2025. Jeatran will assume the role of vice chairman on the same date.

In his new role, Stadler, currently president and CEO of MMA’s Southwest region, will be based in Dallas. He will focus on advancing MMA’s national strategy through acquisitions, client engagement, talent development, and the implementation of best practices. Stadler will report to David Eslick, MMA’s chairman and chief executive officer.

Stadler has over 20 years of experience in employee benefits and property/casualty insurance and joined MMA in 2015 following its acquisition of MHBT Inc. He has since held several leadership positions, including president of MMA Texas in 2019 and CEO of the Southwest region in 2023.

Jeatran, who joined MMA in 2011 through the acquisition of RJF Agencies Inc, will continue to support the firm’s merger and acquisition efforts, lead special projects, and maintain key carrier relationships in his new role. Jeatran, who has served as president of MMA since 2017, will also continue to report to Eslick.
