Love Islanders Farmer Will and Jessie Wynter starting family at the farm

It’s no secret that Will Young and Jessie Wynter have been a strong couple since leaving the Winter Love Island villa earlier this year, however, it seems that things are really progressing as the pair start to build their animal family together at Will’s family farm.

In a recent interview on the Becca and Lizzie podcast, Will and Jessie discuss life on the farm, the differences between their British and Australian rural upbringings and what the future looks like for the two of them.

“We are building our little family on the farm as well which is lovely. We’ve got donkeys, goats, pigs, emus” Will states.

Although the farm is only populated with animals currently, Jessie talks about her aspirations of having her own children live the rural life one day. “I’ve always seen myself going forward with a country boy and I’ve always said I want to raise my kids on a farm” she states.

However, farm life between their hometowns is very different, as Jessie explains, “British farming is a little bit different to Australian farming. where I’m from most people you know are either a ‘tradey’, a farmer, maybe you work at a store or a bank.

“It’s really weird to come over to the UK, I feel as though when people speak about a farmer over here, it’s like they’re some mystical creature!”

Jessie continues to highlight the crucial role of farmers. “No one wants to credit the farmers, and it’s like: that’s where your food’s coming from. So why does everyone speak about farmers like they’re a rare breed?”

Following the conversation, Will reveals exciting plans for the future.

“Me and jessie are both looking to diversify the farm,” he says.

“We are looking to actually get glamping pods on the farm to invite the public!”

“I think it’s so important for people who have not seen a farm, or stepped foot on a farm, or understand where food comes from, to take the time and get on a farm.”
