The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, one of the country’s fastest-growing privately held insurance brokerages, has announced the launch of its National Healthcare Services Practice Group. This marks the second in a series of niche practice groups that Liberty plans to introduce throughout the year.

The healthcare industry is undergoing significant growth, creating a critical need for robust insurance programs, Liberty said. The company’s National Healthcare Services Practice Group aims to meet this need by providing customized insurance products and services to healthcare providers of all sizes.

The practice will be led by Tim Mooney, senior vice president at Liberty. Mooney has more than 40 years of industry experience and healthcare expertise.

“We meticulously select markets and provide a seamless experience through dedicated account executives, comprehensive claims management, loss control, and advanced analytics capabilities,” Mooney said. “By leveraging our collective skillset and deep expertise, we strategically tap into the open market to minimize premium and collateral requirements, ensuring significant cost savings without compromising on coverage.”

The National Healthcare Services Practice Group also boasts partnerships with carriers such as CNA and Chubb, Liberty said. These partnerships grant exclusive access to opportunities and allow the group to negotiate competitive terms, providing clients with broader coverage and more favorable rates.

“This move not only solidifies Liberty’s position as a leading insurance brokerage but also underscores our dedication to providing unmatched support to our clients in the healthcare sector,” said Bill Johnson, founder, chairman and CEOof Liberty.
