Leadenhall hires Yuko Hoshino from Securis for Japan & Asia business development

Leadenhall Capital Partners LLP, the London-headquartered specialist insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance linked investment manager, has announced a new key hire, with experienced Japan and Asia business development specialist Yuko Hoshino joining the company.

Hoshino joins Leadenhall as Senior Managing Director for Japan and Asia within its business development team.

She has more than 27 years of extensive experience in the capital markets, within both investment banking and asset management.

Most recently, Hoshino was Partner and Head of Japan/Asia for specialist ILS manager Securis Investment Partners.

In her new role at Leadenhall Capital Partners, covering Japan and Asia, Hoshino will report to Lorenzo Volpi, Managing Partner and Deputy CEO.

Hoshino has demonstrable experience in business development and investor relations for insurance-linked securities (ILS), with robust connections across the Asia and Japan institutional marketplaces.

Leadenhall noted her success in, “promoting investment strategies including insurance-linked strategies, structured credit and fixed income alternative to institutional investors mainly located in Japan such as pension funds, financial institutions and corporates over her career at Securis , Credit Suisse First Boston in London and Credit Suisse Securities in Tokyo.”
