Intact Insurance reaffirms support for broker-focused campaign


Intact Insurance Company is the latest insurance company to renew its support for the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) and its Broker Identity Program (BIP), at the Full Partner level.

The insurer will support the BIP – IBAC’s national advertising campaign that raises awareness of the significant value that brokers offer their clients, especially when it comes to customer choice, professional advice, and advocacy. Intact’s continued investment will also contribute to IBAC’s other initiatives, including the broker association’s technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and the association’s federal advocacy to keep the insurance and banking industries separate.

A month ago, Trisura Guarantee had also renewed its Full Partner support for IBAC’s BIP. According to Trisura president and CEO Chris Sekine, the BIP program “provides brokers with access to resources, education and support,” which are key, as brokers are “critical” to Trisura’s operations.
