Inszone Insurance Services has announced another acquisition for 2024, swooping for The Point Insurance Services in Downey, California.

The Point Insurance Services was founded in 1994 by Raul Castillo as Blue Point Insurance Agency. It began as a small one-man operation and has since grown to offer a wide range of insurance products and services, with a team of experienced professionals serving both English and Spanish speaking clients.

Castillo has been leading The Point Insurance Services as CEO and president since its inception. He is a licensed insurance professional with expertise in property and casualty, life, and health insurance.

An immigrant from Guadalajara, Mexico, Castillo is also known for his dedication to establishing a strong local presence in Downey, offering his support to the community through non-profit organizations.

“The Point Insurance Services shares our values of providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to clients,” said Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone. “This strategic acquisition is in line with our mission to expand our presence and enhance our offerings to the Spanish speaking community in California and beyond.”

Following its merger with Inszone, The Point Insurance Services will maintain operations in Downey and ensure clients experience a seamless transition, according to a news release.

The same release noted that Inszone will be announcing more acquisitions in the coming months.

Inszone currently has 52 locations across 13 states, including Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington. It announced earlier this month that it has acquired LPL Insurance Agency, which is also based in California.
