Employee benefits general agency BenefitMall and brokerage agency Crump Life Insurance Services have brought in Jason Nevin (pictured left) and Wai Miks (pictured right), respectively, as benefits sales executive for Northern California and Northwest regional director.

Nevin, who brings more than two decades of industry experience, is known for his expertise across small group, large group, and level-funded coverage. In his new role, he will focus on helping brokers navigate the employee benefits market, offering solutions that support their business growth and client retention.

Before joining BenefitMall, Nevin spent nearly 10 years at Warner Pacific Insurance Services where he specialized in large group sales.

Hadley Weiler, regional vice president for the West Region at BenefitMall, noted: “Jason’s deep knowledge of large group insurance solutions and his passion for creating lasting client relationships make him a valuable asset to BenefitMall as we continue to grow in Northern California.”

Recent additions to Benefit Mall include Bret Robinson and Melisa Kitowski for the company’s professional employer organization unit, as well as Hunter Crawford for the Georgia team. All three serve as benefits sales executives.

Over at Crump, Miks joins with more than 30 years of experience in financial planning, particularly in estate planning, supplemental retirement, and business insurance strategies.

The new regional director was most recently with Insurance Planning Advisors. Previous positions held by Miks were with Diversified Financial Concepts, New York Life, Prudential Financial, and Saybrus Partners.
