International Medical Group (IMG), a global provider of insurance benefits and assistance services, is inviting applications for its Leave Your Mark Grant. Now in its eighth year, the program is dedicated to supporting mission-driven and social good organisations worldwide. Interested applicants can submit their proposals from 1 August to 13 September 2024.

IMG focuses on medical and travel insurance solutions. This year, the program will award grants to five recipients – two organisations and three individuals – engaged in mission, volunteer, or service projects. Each organisation will be awarded $3,500, while the individuals will receive $1,000 each.

Applicants are required to present a 500-word essay or a three-minute video detailing the significance of their project, their strategies to address current global challenges, and how the grant will enhance their international outreach efforts.

“Each year, the Leave Your Mark Grant opens up new possibilities for individuals and groups committed to making a difference globally,” said Amanda Winkle, chief operating officer at IMG. “It’s thrilling to see the diverse applications and the substantial impact these grants have worldwide.”

Last year’s recipients exemplify the grant’s transformative potential. Village to Village utilised their funds to organise a camp in the US for 60 refugee children. Helping Children Worldwide hosted a training event in Sierra Leone for almost 100 midwives, significantly advancing maternal and newborn health services. Moreover, the grants supported initiatives ranging from childbirth education in Eswatini and agricultural training in Liberia to building schools in Oaxaca, Mexico.
