ILS Asia 2023 update: Keynote presentations and fireside chats

We’re delighted to announce a few of the keynote presentations and fireside chats that will take place at our upcoming ILS Asia 2023 conference on July 13th in Singapore.

For 2023, we’re bringing back some of our favourite presenters from over the years, while also hosting two fireside chats with industry leaders.

Delivering a keynote speech on the catastrophe bond and ILS market will be Aon Securities CEO Paul Schultz.

Presenting on the liquidity of insurance-linked securities (ILS), such as catastrophe bonds, secondary market dynamics and how the traded ILS market reacted to last year’s hurricane Ian will be, Josh Stannack, Head of ILS and Steve Emmerson of Tullett Prebon.

Presenting on ILS investor dynamics in Asia and what they see as the only Asia-based ILS fund manager will be Stefan Kräuchi, Founder, ILS Advisers and CEO, HSZ (Hong Kong) Limited, alongside colleague Tim Yip, Executive Director & Portfolio Manager, ILS Advisers / HSZ Group.

Our fireside chats will see Artemis Editor Steve Evans interviewing industry leaders on stage.

First, will be Lorenzo Volpi, Deputy CEO and Managing Partner of specialist ILS investment manager Leadenhall Capital Partners, speaking about the diversified ILS manager strategy and the importance of Asia as both investor hub and risk market.

Second, we will welcome William Ho, CEO of MS Amlin Asia Pacific and Head of Reinsurance (Asia), MS Amlin, who will discuss the Asian reinsurance marketplace as well as his firm’s journey to sponsor now three ILS transactions out of Singapore.

We hope all these sessions will prove insightful and educational.
