The workshop, scheduled for the morning of September 16, will feature innovative technology solutions for insurance brokers. Tom Reid, IBAC’s data exchange lead, will facilitate the Stackathon.

The workshop’s goal is to facilitate collaboration between technology vendors and brokers, enabling them to explore and develop the ideal tech stacks for progressive insurance operations in both personal and commercial lines. Reid will guide participants through the session, leveraging his strategic insight into technology and insurance.

“The Brokertech Stackathon is more than just an event; it’s a catalyst for transformation in the insurance brokerage industry,” said Reid. “We’re bringing together the brightest minds from both technology and brokerages to identify tools that will define the future of our industry.”

The event allows brokers to discover new tools and systems to streamline operations and enhance customer service while fostering valuable connections with tech vendors and other brokers. Participants will gain insights into the latest technological advancements and learn how to integrate them into their business practices.

For vendors, the Stackathon offers direct engagement with a targeted audience of brokerage decision-makers, immediate feedback on offerings for quick adaptation and improvement, and increased brand exposure within the industry.

“IBAC is proud to support and participate in this year’s Amplify conference,” IBAC chief executive Peter Braid (pictured) said. “The Stackathon will help guide insurance brokers in choosing the best technology solutions for their operations, ultimately benefiting the customers they serve. We look forward to sharing these valuable resources with our member associations across the country.”
