Hub International has announced the launch of a new offering designed to assist multinational companies with managing complex risks across various industries.

The new offering, HUB multinational protection, is available to clients operating in five countries or less, including those with employees working or travelling abroad and global product sales.

It also applies to those that sponsor international trips or have a physical presence outside the US, such as offices, manufacturing facilities, and warehouses, according to a company release.

“It is important that clients dealing with the challenging global landscape work with specialists from around the world who understand in-market risks and comply with the insurance requirements and regulations necessary in each country,” said Will Mulé, executive vice president, global risk solutions practice leader.

Coverage options under HUB’s new offering include the following:

Global property
General liability
Employee benefits liability
Excess auto
Foreign voluntary workers compensation
Business travel accident
Kidnap and ransom insurance.

To ensure compliance with country-specific requirements, HUB Multinational Protection features a panel of A+ carriers.

Clients also have access to in-country brokers through HUB’s global network, which ensures local experts are on hand to aid with navigating compliance issues in different regions.

HUB’s latest product follows the recent launch of its violent acts liability insurance offering, which includes coverage for liability risks caused by violent acts impacting an organization. It is available in both the US and Canada.

“In a world where unforeseen acts of violence can disrupt lives and businesses in an instant, we can help clients face these uncertainties with greater confidence,” said HUB executive vice president and casualty leader Carol Murphy back in November.
