Hiscox Appoints Mary Boyd as USA Chief Executive
Will Join the Insurer on June 24th
Hiscox, the international specialist insurer, today announces the appointment of Mary Boyd as Chief Executive Officer of its USA business unit. Mary joins Hiscox on 24th June and replaces existing USA CEO Kevin Kerridge, who is stepping down after almost 30 years in the business.

Mary Boyd, a US national, joins Hiscox from Plymouth Rock Assurance, a leading home and auto insurance provider in the northeast of the USA, where she has been CEO of its independent agency business since 2018. She began her career in actuarial roles before moving into leadership positions at The Hartford Insurance Company; ACE; Explorer Insurance; and Chubb.

Outgoing CEO Kevin Kerridge will operate in an advisory capacity over the coming months before leaving to explore opportunities outside Hiscox at the end of September.
