Guy Carpenter has announced the return of Marie-Eve Nadeau (pictured above) to its Canadian Broking Team as senior vice president, based in the Toronto office.

Nadeau brings a wealth of experience in analytics, pricing, and reinsurance broking, along with recent experience in the primary insurance sector, which the company says is expected to enhance the team’s capabilities and support the firm’s commitment to delivering expertise to its clients.

Nadeau rejoined Guy Carpenter after serving as vice president of actuarial services at Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company from June 2022 to July 2024. In this role, she was responsible for leading actuarial services and contributing to the company’s strategic initiatives.

Prior to her tenure at Trisura, Nadeau held the position of senior vice president at Guy Carpenter from May 2019 to June 2022, where she played a key role in the firm’s reinsurance broking operations.

Before her initial tenure at Guy Carpenter, Nadeau was vice president at JLT Re, a role she held for over five years, from December 2013 to May 2019. In this position, she was involved in various aspects of reinsurance broking, helping to manage and grow the firm’s client base in Toronto.

Nadeau’s career also includes significant experience in risk consulting and actuarial services. She worked as a consultant in risk consulting and software at Towers Watson from 2009 to 2013 and as manager of actuarial services at The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company in 2009.

Earlier in her career, Nadeau served as an actuarial analyst at Dion, Durrell + Associates Inc. and as an actuarial assistant in personal lines at Lombard Insurance.

Guy Carpenter also noted that its announcement of Nadeau’s return highlights the firm’s focus on strengthening its Canadian team with seasoned professionals who bring a blend of reinsurance and primary insurance expertise.
