Through the sponsorship, Gore Mutual will help sustain IBAC’s BIP, a nationwide marketing initiative that emphasizes the key benefits brokers bring to clients, including offering choice, advice, and advocacy.
The partnership also extends beyond marketing, contributing to other IBAC priorities such as technological advancement, broker workforce development, and federal advocacy efforts to keep banking and insurance separate.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada and support the Broker Identity Program,” said Gore Mutual president and chief executive Andy Taylor (pictured).
“Gore Mutual is grateful for its network of broker partners and believes in the vital role that brokers play in providing choice, expert advice, and strong advocacy for clients. Our ongoing commitment to this program and IBAC’s initiatives reflects our dedication to ensuring a fair, competitive marketplace that helps consumers protect their greatest assets.”
IBAC CEO Peter Braid highlighted the strength of the relationship, noting that Gore Mutual “has always been a strong champion” of the broker network.
“Their renewed investment underscores our shared commitment to ensuring that consumers have the tools they need to make informed decisions on insurance matters, and recognizes the important role that brokers play in advising and supporting consumers. We greatly value this long-standing partnership.”
Other full-partner sponsors of the BIP campaign include Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company, The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group, Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, Wynward Insurance Group, Intact Insurance Company, Unica Insurance, HSB Canada, Portage Mutual, Red River Mutual, Economical Insurance, Travelers Canada, and Sandbox Mutual Insurance.
