Global industry leaders to gather in Australia for insurance seminar

Insurance leaders from across the globe – including from Gallagher, Swiss Re, and Finity – will gather in Australia for the AOA Seminar 2023, to be held this week.

The Asia Oceania Association, part of the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation, will host the AOA Seminar 2023 in Australia for the first time.

The event will be held over two days:

Day 1: September 26, 9:00 to 17:00 

Day 2: September 27, 9:30 to 17:00

Venue: HERITAGE BALLROOM (6F), The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, No.1 Martin Place, Sydney.

Some of the topics to be addressed in the seminar are AI and machine learning’s impact on insurance innovation, climate risk, and the war for talent in the industry post-COVID-19 pandemic.

Key attendees

Prominent climate change commentator Rade Musulin (principal at Finity Consulting, Australia) will host the event. Meanwhile, Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals CEO Melina Morrison (CEO of BCCM, Australia) will discuss the future role of mutuals in the Australian insurance sector.

Other industry leaders from Australia, the UK, Canada, Switzerland, India, Japan, and New Zealand will attend the event, including:
