Appointee to lead personal injury growth strategy

Gallagher Bassett (GB) has promoted Debbie Vounakis to head of sales and client services for personal injury, effective November 1, 2023.

Vounakis brings over 20 years of experience to the new role and the senior leadership team. She has a strong commitment to driving excellence, having been recognised with the WorkSafe Excellence Award in 2021 for outstanding contribution by an individual. She received the award for her involvement and contribution to scheme and stakeholder engagement. 

New role for Debbie Vounakis

As the new head of sales and client services for personal injury, Vounakis will lead GB’s personal injury growth strategy nationally and best practice client management solutions to existing clients. 

“I see this role as an opportunity to further support GB’s current success as one of Australia’s leading personal injury specialists by leveraging experience, insights, and learnings from our national claims’ operations,” she said. “I am excited to continue to forge strong partnerships with new and existing clients who share similar challenges and ensuring that GB’s solutions address their needs and risk mitigation.”
