Fuelling Around podcast: Sharleen Spiteri and Bryn Williams’ love of life, work and cars

Sharleen Spiteri and her celebrity chef husband Bryn Williams reveal their recipe for a successful marriage on the latest episode of Fuelling Around.

The frontwoman of iconic Glaswegian rock band Texas and her partner discuss their shared love of life, work and cars on the latest episode of the popular automotive podcast.

They take a trip down memory lane with co-hosts Jason Plato and Dave Vitty to talk early motoring memories, mistakes, first cars, fantasy drives and much more on the smash-hit offering, powered by insurance broker Adrian Flux.

Sharleen Spiteri to hit road for rescheduled Texas 2022 tour

Sharleen will be putting her motion sickness to the test once again next year as the Scottish rockers embark on their rescheduled 2022 UK and Irish tour.

At least this time she won’t have Bryn or JP to blame if she gets car sick when the Say What You Want five-piece hit the road in February and March next year.

“All I remember is that I fell out of your car,” joked the Glasgow singer of her time as Jason’s passenger at a Car Fest event.

“You drove me round the track, I got out and I was hanging on to the ground for grim death thinking; ‘Please, please don’t make the vomit come out of my body,’ literally, in front of all of these people that are watching me crawl across the track on my hands and knees.

“Honest to god I am the most car sick person on the planet.”

Welsh rally lover Bryn, a regular on BBC programmes Saturday Kitchen and The Great British Menu, laughed that his love of windy roads did little to appease Sharleen’s struggles, even though she described her hubby as a “brilliant driver”.
