Fidelity Life unveils speaker lineup for adviser conference
The flagship conference will be hosted in two locations on two separate dates

Fidelity Life has announced its speaker lineup for its sold-out adviser conference, Engage 2023, to be held in September in Christchurch and Auckland.
The insurer’s chief sales and service officer Bronwyn Kirwan (pictured) said that Fidelity Life is preparing to deliver a fantastic conference in its 50th year.
“Engage this year coincides with our 50th year in business, and advisers have been with us every step of the way, so there’s certainly a lot to celebrate,” Kirwan said. “But it’s just as important to look forward to what’s next: a new era, a new landscape, a new shared future. With that in mind, we’ve curated an awesome speaker lineup that’s guaranteed to both challenge and inspire advisers to take their businesses to the next level.”
Fidelity Life’s Engage 2023 speakers include:
Jessica Brady – one of Australia’s 50 most influential advisers, she represents a new era of young and dynamic advice entrepreneurs
Kaila Colbin – the 2022 Kea World Class New Zealand Friend of New Zealand award winner, Colbin is the leadership guru best known for partnering with rugby champs the Crusaders for a high-performance leadership program
David Beaton – described as a business-building ninja, Beaton uses technology and process redesign to optimise profit and take business performance to its next level
Angus Woods – founder of Adviser Ratings, which has evolved into one of the largest owners of financial services data assets in Australia
Other guests for the event include former senior minister Steven Joyce, who will provide political insights for the upcoming election, and entertainer Jackie Clarke, who will act as MC for the event.
Also in the lineup to preview some upcoming initiatives for advisers are Fidelity Life acting CEO Ian Clancy, chief information officer Billy Miller, chief customer officer Peter Doherty, and Kirwan.
Engage 2023 will be hosted in Christchurch on Sept. 12 and 13, and in Auckland on Sept. 20 and 21.
