Falvey Insurance Group has announced changes to its leadership roster, as well as the establishment of a new board of directors.
The leadership shuffle comes in the wake of Daryl Mackay’s retirement, paving the way for Brad Eldridge (pictured above) to assume the vacated role of chief relationship officer (CRO).
Eldridge previously served as senior vice president of business development. His new role as CRO will see him leveraging his underwriting experience to lead the expansion of Falvey’s market and broker relationships.
Additionally, Falvey has installed a board of directors to guide the organization through its next phase of development.
Joining the newly formed board is Michael Miller, whose experience includes senior marine insurance leadership positions at AON Reinsurance Solutions and Markel Insurance Companies.
President and CEO Mike Falvey will now assume the role of CEO and president of the board of directors. Mackay will also take on a board position, according to a company release
The same release said there are plans to continue expanding the board of directors in the coming year, with the goal of including industry leaders who have diverse expertise.
“As Brad Eldridge assumes his new role and the new board of directors takes office, Falvey looks forward to executing the company goals set for 2024,” said Mike Falvey. “I have full confidence that Brad will excel in his new role, and I am excited to witness the impact he will undoubtedly have on strengthening our industry partnerships. Additionally, I am eager to work with our board of directors who will provide governance, oversight, and strategic guidance to the organization.
Founded in 1995 by Mike Falvey, Falvey Insurance Group is billed as the largest cargo covernote holder at Lloyd’s. It currently has over 150 employees across the US, UK and Canada.
