ESM Welcomes Dennis Cleaver to Western Canada Team

WINNIPEG, MB, SEPTEMBER 30, 2024/insPRESS/ – Emergency Security Management (ESM), a division of Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation (Xpera) and Canada’s leading provider of uniformed security services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Cleaver as Regional Manager for Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Dennis is a security and insurance professional with over 30 years of experience. In 1992, he began his career in risk management and investigations, later founding his own investigation firm in 2013. He has personally managed numerous security and investigative projects for various organizations, including managing security at the Winnipeg Legislative Grounds during Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee.

Dennis holds his Canadian Risk Management (CRM), Certified Protection Officer Instructor (CPOI), and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designations, and is also working towards a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. He has been a member of the Province of Manitoba’s Security Industry Standards Advisory Committee and the Security Training Development Committee. He also has been a consultant on the curriculum for the Province of Manitoba’s Security Guard Training Program.

As Regional Manager for Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Dennis will oversee security teams in day-to-day operations across the two provinces, leveraging his decades of experience in the security, risk management, and insurance sectors (both as a security professional and experienced adjuster). This appointment will support Xpera/ESM’s client promise by ensuring the delivery of quality services across the entire risk continuum. In his new role, Dennis will report to Peter Waring, Director of Western Canada for ESM.
