Cop Locks Himself In Car With Female Suspect Who Offered Sex
San Diego police officer Anthony Hair was forced to call for backup after running into a sticky situation with a female suspect. However, he wasn’t overpowered by her, outnumbered or unable to make an arrest, oh no. Instead, he managed to lock himself in the back of his cruiser with the suspect right after they said they were “down to f**k.”

Hair claimed that he locked himself in the back of his police cruiser after arresting a woman back in August 2023, reports the Metro. The woman was one of two people taken into custody in connection with a car theft, they were each being transported to police headquarters.
However, while Hair was transporting the woman, his cruiser was tracked on GPS going down a dark residential street and coming to a stop. In body cam recordings of the ride, the woman can be heard from the back seat asking if Hair is in a relationship and saying “I’m down to f**k right now.”
The officer responds by saying “Don’t say that right now because everything is being recorded,” reports the Metro. As the site explains:
As Hair neared Las Colinas, California, he asked the woman what she was doing in the backset. His vehicle slowed and he turned off his body cam. He turned into a dark residential street a few blocks away from Las Colinas, GPS showed.
His vehicle stopped at 1.34am, and 20 minutes later, Hair called a fellow cop asking if he had a master key for the cruisers.
‘I heard and noticed Officer Hair had a panicky voice,’ the officer said in an interview.
‘I asked him if he was okay. He said, yes, and then asked if I had my patrol car key with me… I asked why he was asking and what did he need. Officer Hair then asked me If I could go meet him. I asked him his location and he said, near Cottonwood…
When the other officer arrived on the scene, they found Hair locked in the rear of his cruiser with the woman. Initially, he argued that he was merely checking on the detainee after they claimed they were having a medical incident, reports CarScoops. When Hair headed back to check on them, he claims his camera was knocked off and the door slammed shut behind him.

However, an investigation into the incident found semen on Hair’s uniform. The officer also resigned from the force a month into the investigation and a day before he was due to be questioned over the incident. As CarScoops adds:
Despite that, the department found semen on Hair’s belt and falsified reports. As of this writing, it doesn’t appear as though Hair is facing any charges related to the incident.
In theory, he could still apply to any police department should he choose to.
On top of all that, the woman that Hair had arrested reports that he asked for her number after taking her into custody and even wanted to get together after she was released from jail.
