Hub International Limited has added Clark 401k Consulting to its roster of firms.

Specializing in 401(k) consulting and fiduciary processes, Clark 401k Consulting offers a range of 401(k) retirement plan consulting services. These include independent investment consulting, establishing and reviewing fiduciary processes and best practices, retirement readiness assessments, plan optimization strategies, benchmarking, and investment selection and monitoring.

The acquired firm is based in Los Gatos, California.

Under the deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, accredited investment fiduciary and investment consultant Christopher Clark and his team will be joining Hub’s retirement and private wealth division in Central and Northern California.

Joe DeNoyior, president of retirement and private wealth (RPW) at Hub, added: “Chris’s experience with not only retirement plans, but employee benefits and financial wellness, is an excellent fit for what we are focused on here at Hub.”

Hub RPW supports plan sponsors in creating offerings that align with their business goals, manage fiduciary risk, and assist employees in achieving their financial objectives. Currently, Hub RPW’s several registered investment advisory affiliates provide advisory services to clients with assets totaling approximately $148 billion.

Clark 401k Consulting is the latest in a series of acquisitions for Hub. The group recently snapped up the assets of Southern Colorado Insurance (formally SCIC LLC), which will be integrated into Hub Colorado and will be known as SCIC LLC, a Hub International company.
