Chubb has announced three executive appointments within its finance organization, effective September 4, 2024.

George Ohsiek (pictured above, left) has been named vice president, Chubb Group and chief accounting officer. Currently serving as chief auditor for Chubb Group, Ohsiek will take on responsibilities related to corporate and regulatory accounting, managerial and external financial reporting, group-wide financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and statutory and GAAP accounting policy. He will also oversee corporate and subsidiary controllers.

Ohsiek brings over 25 years of accounting and finance experience to his new role. Prior to becoming chief auditor, he held various corporate finance positions at Chubb, including senior vice president of global accounting policy and group controller.

Before joining Chubb in 2008, Ohsiek worked at the US Securities and Exchange Commission and KPMG. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The State University of New York College at Geneseo.

Ohsiek succeeds Annmarie Hagan (pictured above, middle), who has been appointed vice president, Chubb Group and chief financial officer of operations & technology and transformation.

In her new position, Hagan will manage all FP&A activities for Chubb’s technology and operations sectors, including real estate operations across the company’s global presence. She will also track technology-related transformation initiatives, oversee the controllership of technology-related assets, and operationalize ESG-related financial reporting for the company.

Hagan has more than 35 years of experience in insurance, accounting, and financial management. Before serving as chief accounting officer, she was global controller at Chubb from 2016 to 2020.

Hagan joined Chubb’s combined insurance business in 2014 as senior vice president of operations and finance. She also held a finance vice president role at Chubb from 1999 to 2001. Prior to rejoining Chubb in 2014, Hagan served as chief financial officer for Cigna Corp.

Mong-Diep Le (pictured above, right) will take over Ohsiek’s previous role as chief auditor. Le, currently the executive vice president, global controller for Chubb, will be responsible for overseeing all internal audit functions across the company, including control processes and key risk assessments.

Le has over 25 years of experience in accounting and reporting. Before her role as global controller, she held various positions of increasing responsibility in SEC reporting and financial accounting.

Chubb also announced that it plans to announce a new global controller in the near future.

These executives will report directly to Peter Enns, executive vice president, Chubb Group and chief financial officer. Additionally, Hagan will report to Julie Dillman, executive vice president, Chubb Group; senior executive, operations & technology; and digital transformation officer. Le will also report to the Chubb Limited Audit Committee.

Enns noted the strength of Chubb’s finance organization, highlighting the extensive experience of Ohsiek, Hagan, and Le.

“Together, George, Annmarie, and Dee have four decades of experience with Chubb, along with the skills and expertise they brought to the company when they first joined. With their deep knowledge of Chubb and expertise in corporate finance and accounting, they are eminently qualified to lead their respective new teams,” Enns said.
