Unfortunately, car crashes are a leading cause of death for children. How can we better protect our children while doing something as simple as riding in the car? This Child Passenger Safety Week, we are sharing potentially life-saving tips for keeping your child safe while they are a passenger in a car.

What Is Child Passenger Safety Week?

Child Passenger Safety Week was created by the United States Department of Transportation to shed light on the risks and preventable measures a parent or caregiver can take to ensure the safety of a child while riding in a vehicle. 374 child passengers were injured every single day in 2019. In that same year, 608 child passengers died. The need to ensure that your child is secured properly in the correct car seat for their age, weight, and height has never been greater.
