Managing general agent CHES Special Risk has launched an ‘all-risks’ insurance package designed specifically for high-value homes.

The new CHES product spans a wide array of perils, including earthquakes, fires, accidental damages, and various liabilities. Aimed at homeowners of luxury properties, the policy aims to offer superior protection and reassurance.

“The ownership of a high-value home reflects your client’s achievements, and we stand ready to shield it with coverage proportional to its importance,” Gary Hirst, chief executive and president at CHES, said in a statement addressed to brokers.

“Our high-value home insurance is meticulously crafted to deliver comprehensive protection, safeguarding everything from architectural wonders to cherished possessions.

“Moreover, our personal article floaters insurance adds a unique touch to this policy, offering specialized coverage for specific high-value items such as fine art, jewellery, and collectibles. This additional layer of protection ensures that every aspect of your client’s valuable assets is accounted for, providing peace of mind and unparalleled security.”

According to CHES, the “all-risks” approach guarantees that unless an item is specifically excluded, it is covered, providing clear and reliable protection for homeowners. The policy also caters to a variety of high-value homes, from principal dwellings to homes under construction and even holiday properties listed on platforms like Airbnb.

In incidents such as burglaries, which might lead to the loss of expensive items like designer bags or high-end watches, CHES’s combined high-value home insurance and personal article floaters insurance provide extensive protection against theft.
