CHES Special Risk has been recognized as a Great Place to Work in Canada for the third straight year.

The recognition, awarded by the Great Place to Work Institute Canada, is based on anonymous feedback from CHES employees, who participated in a detailed survey evaluating their level of satisfaction at work.

The Great Place to Work Institute, known globally for its commitment to identifying and nurturing high-trust, high-performance workplaces, uses rigorous evaluation methodologies. It celebrates the most outstanding workplaces in Canada through its certification program.

“Our primary goal is to create an environment where every individual can thrive, CHES Special Risk president and chief executive Gary Hirst said in an emailed release. “Through investing in our employees’ development, valuing their contributions, and recognizing their hard work, we’ve witnessed the flourishing of our company.”

The CEO expressed his gratitude for the renewed certification and reiterated the managing general agent’s unwavering commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for colleagues. He stressed the importance of personal and professional development for employees, linking their growth directly to the firm’s success.

Hirst also highlighted how dedicated the independent MGA is to hiring top talent from across the country, pledging to assist them with extensive mentorship, continuous learning opportunities, and pathways for career advancement within CHES Special Risk.

“We actively seek out individuals with diverse talents and backgrounds to join our team, offering a commitment to mentorship and growth within and beyond our organization,” he said.
