Eleven new hires added across 18 locations

Loss adjusting firm Charles Taylor has expanded its workforce in Asia with the appointment of 11 new technical experts across several key locations.

This initiative responds to the growing demand for detailed loss adjusting services and is a reflection of the company’s dedication to nurturing new industry talent, Charles Taylor said.

The appointments will boost the firm’s technical adjuster and specialist numbers to over 300 in 18 locations throughout the continent, spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and other Asian markets.

Charles Taylor Singapore

In Singapore, Charles Taylor has appointed three new members to its team:


Matthew Cao steps into the role of managing director at Richards Hogg Lindley – Southeast Asia, the firm’s specialist marine hull average adjusting division. Cao brings over 17 years of experience in the region and holds the Association of Average Adjusting Fellowship.
Arnaud Meltz joins as a director focusing on construction & engineering, bringing his 18-year tenure of managing large and complex claims from France to Singapore.
Chan Bing Hui has been appointed as a trainee loss adjuster within the Natural Resources sector, marking the firm’s investment in developing new talent.

Charles Taylor Hong Kong

The Hong Kong office sees the arrival of four new professionals:


Raymond Wong and Tom Chan enhance the loss adjusting capabilities in property and construction and engineering, respectively, with Chan taking on the senior loss adjuster role.
Ellie Woo and John Chan join as trainee adjusters, indicating a continued commitment to professional growth within the company.

These appointments grow the Hong Kong property, casualty, construction & engineering teams to a total of 36 members.

Charles Taylor Malaysia

Charles Taylor’s presence in Malaysia has been reinforced with four strategic hires across several pivotal regions:


Kelvin Simon and Hayat Haikal have been appointed as loss adjusters in Sarawak and Selangor, respectively.
Liew Chee Yong takes up the position of deputy manager in Sarawak.
Gajendran A/L Sukumaran joins as deputy manager, focusing on motor claims, based in Johor Bahru.

These additions bring the Malaysian team to a total of 33 members, each reporting to Bala Subramaniam, managing director of property and casualty in Malaysia.
