Care Health Insurance has entered into a corporate agency agreement with CarePal Secure, a major health protection marketplace in India.

According to APN News, the partnership is set to offer comprehensive health insurance solutions to CarePal Secure’s clientele, including those with pre-existing medical conditions.

This effort aims to decrease reliance on crowdfunding for medical expenses and provide financial protection against unexpected health costs. Significantly, the collaboration extends coverage to individuals with pre-existing conditions, addressing a critical gap in the market.

CarePal Secure’s crowdfunding platform, Impact Guru, supports patients with severe health challenges such as cancer, accident-related injuries, and organ transplants.

Benefits of Care Health Insurance’s partnership with CarePal Secure

According to CarePal Secure, the rise in critical illnesses in India, combined with advancements in diagnostics, technology, and medicine, has rendered many previously incurable diseases manageable or curable. This change has opened up health insurance opportunities for those who were previously considered uninsurable.

Pankaj Nawani, CEO of CarePal Secure, said the partnership aims to broaden health coverage not only for the general population but also for ex-patients who need it the most.

“We are thrilled to partner with Care Health Insurance to bring this vital service to our customers. Our goal is to expand health coverage not only among the general population but also among ex-patients who are most in need of safeguarding their health but are not sufficiently aware of the options that are available in the market. Towards this goal, we are very happy to have Care Health Insurance as our esteemed partners,” he said, as reported by APN News.
