The Council of Australian Life Insurers (CALI) has announced a significant development in its Partner Program, with the global technology firm Equisoft becoming the first corporate partner to join. The partnership marks a pivotal step for CALI as it aims to enhance collaboration within the financial services sector.
Equisoft aligns with CALI’s goal of integrating expertise from various areas of financial services with insights from senior life insurance executives, it said. The initiative is designed to promote deeper professional relationships and cooperative efforts to address industry challenges.
“This is about creating deep professional connections and working together to support our industry and find the most innovative solutions to business challenges,” CALI CEO Christine Cupitt said, adding that “Equisoft’s deep domain expertise in the financial services industry will help our members continue to expand Australians’ access to the life insurance protection that suits them when they need it most.”
Equisoft brings to the table three decades of experience in providing technology solutions to over 278 financial services companies worldwide. Its expertise is expected to significantly benefit CALI members by enhancing access to tailored life insurance protection for Australians, especially in critical times.
“We look forward to collaborating with CALI to share knowledge and solutions to benefit their members,” said Naintara Sahay, vice president of insurance and wealth management at Equisoft APAC. “Through this partnership, we can participate in forums to address business problems and provide solutions to support the life insurance industry’s strong future.”
