The Council of Australian Life Insurers (CALI) has named EvolutionIQ, a claims guidance technology provider, as its first-ever Life Partner as part of its broader partnership initiative.

The US-based company joins CALI’s corporate partner program, which seeks to connect life insurers with companies that can help drive the sector forward.

The partnership marks a key development in CALI’s efforts to expand collaboration across the life insurance industry.

Through the CALI Partner Program, the council aims to bring together firms that support its mission to make life insurance more accessible and easier to understand for Australians.

Commenting on the council’s new corporate partner, CALI CEO Christine Cupitt said the partnerships formed are essential for helping CALI members access new technologies and insights that enhance the customer experience.

“We want to work closely with each of our partners to strengthen and support the life insurance industry to deliver better customer experiences for millions of Australians on their best and worst days,” she said.

“Our partnership with CALI means we can contribute to and shape customer experiences in Australia and ultimately help more people return to health and a livelihood sooner,” he said.

Broader partnership strategy includes Equisoft

The addition of EvolutionIQ comes as part of a wider effort by CALI to build a network of corporate partners that can provide innovative solutions to the challenges facing the life insurance industry.

CALI’s broader partnership drive seeks to leverage the expertise of various specialists to help life insurers address key business challenges, such as improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer engagement.

Cupitt said collaborations are critical in helping the company provide its members with the tools and resources they need to better serve customers.

“Equisoft’s deep domain expertise in the financial services industry will help our members continue to expand Australians’ access to the life insurance protection that suits them when they need it most,” she said.

Equisoft’s vice president of insurance and wealth management, Naintara Sahay, echoed this sentiment, noting that the partnership with CALI will focus on sharing knowledge and digital strategies that help Australian life insurers expand their capabilities.
