Specialist insurance and reinsurance broker BMS has announced the appointments of Andrew Hutchings and Louise Rothschild to its cargo team. Hutchings and Rothschild will join the team after fulfilling their current contractual obligations.

Hutchings and Rothschild will be based in London and will report to Mark Lawson, managing director of BMS North American Direct and Facultative. In their new roles, they will be responsible for building out dedicated cargo and stock throughput activities for BMS’s US intermediary client base.

Hutchins has more than 30 years of experience in the cargo insurance space. He most recently served as divisional director in the cargo division at Price Forbes & Partners, specializing in North American stock throughput business.

Rothschild has nearly 20 years of industry experience and has specialized in marine for more than 15 years. She also joins BMS from Price Forbes & Partners, where she most recently served as divisional director of stock throughput.
