BizCover unveils exclusive insurance offering for SMSF professionals
Partnership boasts comprehensive coverage and exclusive benefits
The SMSF Association, representing accountants, tax professionals, and financial planners who manage self-managed super funds (SMSFs), conducted an extensive tender process to find an insurance solution tailored to its members’ needs. The collaboration with BizCover and Numerisk was selected to meet these requirements.
This new partnership aims to enhance the insurance options available to professionals in the SMSF sector across Australia.
“Not only do we support members’ career development and industry involvement, [but] this new arrangement now allows us to better support their critical business needs too,” he said.
Dan Littledyke, national partnerships manager at BizCover, explained that the goal of the partnership is to broaden insurance coverage and increase access to a wider range of insurers for SMSF Association members.
“Drawing on Numerisk’s specialisation in financial planning and our experience with accountants and tax agents, we can offer a great experience with leading insurance rates for all SMSF Association’s members, not just one particular segment,” he said.
Richard Silberman, managing director at Numerisk, noted that BizCover’s focus on data-driven products and insights complements its insurance brokerage services.
“Coupled with the immense capabilities of BizCover and the very close relationship fostered between organisations, we are uniquely positioned to bring something very different to members of the SMSF Association,” he said.
The partnership official began on Aug. 22, allowing members to access general insurance products, with some offerings potentially including discounted rates.
The campaign was designed to highlight the importance of business insurance for small enterprises and was featured across various media channels, including social media and streaming services.
Sharon Kenny, head of marketing at BizCover, said the campaign aims to make business insurance more accessible and relatable for small business owners in Australia.
