Berkley Insurance Australia (Berkley Australia) has received the “Great Place to Work” certification in Australia for 2023.
The certification is a prestigious recognition given to organisations that excel in creating exceptional workplace cultures.
In a statement Berkley Australia said its certification was mainly driven by the overwhelmingly positive feedback received from its employees in a recent company-wide survey.
Among the 92% of Berkley Australia staff who participated in the survey, 90% stated that it is a great place to work, reflecting the company’s ongoing efforts to promote a positive, supportive work environment.
Berkley Australia CEO Tony Wheatley said: “We are both thrilled and humbled by this recognition. Our team has always been our greatest asset, and we are proud to have cultivated a work environment that is rewarding, inclusive, and stimulating. This certification reinforces our commitment to fostering an inclusive culture of innovation and collaboration.”
Glen Riddell, CEO of Berkley Re Australia, said: “Our employees are the heart of our success. Their commitment to Berkley Australia and their collective efforts towards nurturing our unique work culture have been instrumental in achieving this recognition.”
Berkley Australia plans to leverage the insights gained from the survey to continue enhancing its workplace culture, focusing on areas of success and opportunities for growth.
